  I was very disappointed with the whole attitude that if you do not want laser surgery, you're a less than desirable .patient. Did not go to see Dr. Katzen about laser surgery or new prescription for glasses, so staff was less than friendly. Urged me to sign a digital pad allowing them to charge Medicare for glasses/lens exam without showing me why or what I was signing. Once I asked for it in writing and saw what it was for, I said I did not need to sign it, I was there for a medical reason. They tried to tell me I had to sign it. I asked for where in writing it was a mandetory service and they backed off. After seeing a few technicians who performed same exams I could have had done by an optometrist, the doctor finally came in. He was very dismissive and borderline rude. He told me my double vision was due to cataracts, based it on the location of where I said I saw the second images. Gave no credence to the fact that double vision occurred with only one eye open. Saw Dr. for maybe 10 minutes total. The rest was with techs or sitting alone. I do not recommend nor will I go back to this Dr or his affiliates.

  LOVE LOVE LOVE Katzen Eye Care! His staff are amazing. From start to finish, I never felt a moments hesitation or doubt. Went in for a consult for Lasik and was so comfortable and confident in them that less than one month later I now have 20/20 vision! If anyone is considering Lasik, don't look any further than Katzen Eye Care & Laser Center.
